Apply for a chance to win a €1000 travel grant

For your chance to win a €1000.- travel grant to attend a conference of your choice, please fill out the following form. The winner will be decided by random draw of all eligible applicants during the second week of December 2018 and will be announced to all participants by email. Terms and Conditions
  1. Cell Signaling Technology, Inc. (“CST”) is the organizer of the Travel Grant Competition 2018, which you can participate to from 01 September to 31 October 2018.
  2. To be eligible to participate in the draw, you must be at least 18 years of age at the time of entry and a legal resident of one of the following European countries: Albania, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, The former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia
  3. The draw is open to PhD students or post-doctoral researchers working in an academic life science ‘wet’ lab
  4. The award consists of a grant of € 1000,- that must be used to attend a recognized scientific meeting within 12 months of receiving the grant.
  5. The recipient of the award may be required to provide CST with a photograph and additional biographic information, to be used by CST on marketing communications. The recipient of the award hereby unambiguously consents to the use of his photograph, additional biographic information and/or any other personal data provided to CST for publication by CST on marketing communications.
  6. The award money will be paid to the winner via their institution or organisation. The onus is on the winner to confirm that their institution or funding body allows them to receive awards of this nature, and if required to do so, the winner must disclose the receipt of these funds to any relevant authority.
  7. To comply with financial regulations and anti-corruption legislation, CST will require the issue of a credit note from the winner’s institution or organisation. Alternatively, the winner may opt to be reimbursed by CST, though his institution or organisation, for conference-related expenses by supplying proof of conference attendance as well as receipts, up to the sum of €1000,-.
  8. Only one application per person is permitted. If an applicant attempts to circumvent this by using different email addresses or variations of their name, we reserve the right to remove all of their applications.
  9. The winner of the award is selected by random draw from the pool of applicants; this process is managed by CST and our decision is final. The name of the winner will be published ultimately 3 months after the competition has ended.
  10. No product purchase is required. The purchase and/or use of CST products will not increase your winning chances
